Chrisoula discovered Create-a-Brand while sourcing olives in Greece. Seeking a new brand for her premium olive oil company, she gave us a call.
The brief was to design a brand that both held its own among other premium olive oils and also capitalised upon the Greek provenance of the product.
To see what other brands had to offer, Louise, Archie and Neil went on a fact-finding mission to Knightsbridge in London. The streets were not actually paved with gold, but the shelves and cabinets of the most select food emporiums were absolutely heaving with the liquid variety.
“That’ll go nicely with your toad-in-the-hole and spam fritters, Neil,” said Louise.
Returning from the scouting exercise to Clay Coton, Create-a-Brand set to work on the design “like a well-oiled machine. Geddit?” (Archie). The finished look and feel integrates decorative ancient Greek elements within a bold and almost minimalist design. When we presented this to Christie in London she was delighted.
We are currently working on plans for a website and packaging, the results of which will emerge in 2012. With the quality of the olives, being carefully sourced from the best Greek orchards and always just one orchard per bottle, we are sure it is going to be a spectacularly good product.
