How do you put a smile on a dentist's face? By creating a great brand for them.
Alexia approached Create-a-Brand wanting to increase her brand awareness in the local area and to market her biggest asset: her practice is an independent family-run business that takes the time to get to know their customers.
Unfortunately, independent family dentists have been in decline in recent years. When refreshing Courtyard Dental’s look, we wanted to promote the attributes of a family dentist as a real strength. We also wanted to make the new brand stand out; the previous design was neat but slightly too low-key and unobtrusive.
The new design is an evolution. It keeps some of the elements of the original, while giving the whole more distinctiveness. The ‘crest’ design balances gravitas with friendliness, and helps differentiate Courtyard Dental Practice from many competitors, who have tended to blandly modernise the look of their brand, sacrificing personality and tone.

The strap-line ‘we know your teeth, personally,’ gives potential customers a sense of what sets Courtyard Dental apart: its personal, caring service.
The new brand gives off a comforting feel, one we hope will give customers a sense of confidence the moment they see it. To give an indication of how the brand could work across different media, we created the adcept at the top.
The new look has certainly put a smile on the face of the Courtyard Dental team, and we are now designing the new website. We will let you know when it’s up and running…
